TO THE BEGINNING

With reference to the last blog and Stephen Hawking's book, here he addresses a new question about the beginning of the universe. According to him,  we have a free mind which we can use to explore the whole universe and go beyond the places where Star Trek fear to visit, which for me seemed like Stephen Hawking  was a sci-fi fan. At first,  he talks about many myths and believes that different  community has about the beginning of universe.

But  people seem to take one step forward by asking about the pre universe and this is because people thought the time was absolute. This assumption was broken by the 1915 Einstein revolutionary general theory of  relativity which say that time and background of event was not absolute and time is defined in this universe only, which  means that it's no point  to talk about time before universe. But the only thing which was hard to  assume is, was there a beginning  to the universe or not. To this Hawking says, people are divided on two different assumptions  believing two different representation of universe one group assumed that universe was forever but the other  assumed that universe had a beginning. So to solve this Stephen Hawking makes  a remarkable observation about the night sky, if the universe was to be forever which implies that the stars are shining for an infinite amount of time, and it would have heated up the universe to its own temperature  and the night sky would be bright as sun. It also raised  another question that if the stars were sitting forever why did they suddenly light up?

The Hubble telescope made a discovery of expansion of universe which change the thinking of scientists about  universe completely. As  discovered other galaxies are moving away from us at a greater speed  which implies that the universe was denser at  the beginning or to be simple galaxies were close at the beginning, so to conclude that universe might  have started with everything being at the same point in space. But as we approach this singularity  Einstein relativity theory  broke. With this unusual bumps  for proving that the universe had a beginning scientist started to ignore this questions  either by claiming the steady state theory or by maintaining the origin of universe did not lie in realm of science and turn to metaphysics or religion.
